About us

DangoGames is a free platform of educational games and classroom tools, designed so any teacher can prepare an activity in minutes.

What DangoGames is

DangoGames started from a simple idea: classroom games work better when teachers can fill them with their own content. This unit’s vocabulary, the questions for the next test, the names of their students. That is why almost everything we offer is set up with your own words and shared through a link or a QR code, with nothing to install.

Today the platform brings together games such as hangman, word search, crosswords and memory match, instant tools such as the dice roller and the name picker wheel, and a participation tracker to keep each student’s points by term or semester.

Who is behind it

DangoGames is built and maintained by DangoDev, which also develops other digital products. The site’s design, code and texts are our own, and many improvements come from what teachers who use it tell us.

You can follow updates and message us on the DangoDev Facebook page or by email at dangosaurio2024@gmail.com.

Who it is for

  • Primary, secondary and language teachers who want more engaging review sessions.
  • Workshops, academies and clubs that need quick activities for groups.
  • Families who want to practise at home with games made to measure.

Accounts and games are created by adults. Students only play, and they do not need to sign up.

What you can do

How it stays free

DangoGames is free and will stay that way. Servers and development are paid for by advertising and by voluntary donations from the people who use it. We try to keep ads from interrupting games or lessons, and we do not sell anyone’s data: see the details in our privacy policy.

What we stand for

  • No barriers: you can play without an account, on a phone, a tablet or an interactive whiteboard.
  • The content belongs to the teacher: what you create is yours, and you can change or delete it whenever you like.
  • Minimal data: we only ask for what is needed, and for students a first name or nickname is enough.
  • Built with teachers: every suggestion we receive is read, and many end up on the platform.
